BOGOTÁ, Colombia – American teenager Amanda Anisimova scored her first win on the clay this spring courtesy of a 4-6, 6-3, 6-2 win over Sabine Lisicki at the Claro Open Colsanitas.

The No.6 seed was slow to start against the former Wimbledon finalist and wildcard, dropping the first set in 32 minutes and hitting double the unforced errors to winners.

However, Anisimova recovered across sets two and three, and eventually out-steadied the German in the end of the match, winning the last four games after the decider began with four straight breaks between the two.
